Every aspect of the Convenience Store competes for customer attention. Retailers plan and optimize every square inch. Coca-Cola needed an eye-catching refrigerated solution.


 The Contour Cooler was designed to increase impulse purchases near the check-out counter.  It included a shape customers identify with Coca-Cola.  Most coolers in this marketplace chill the product by covering it with ice.  Coca-Cola was concerned that dry, refrigerated product may be seen as less than “ice cold.”  In order to combat this notion, we routed the inbound cold air to the top of the cooler and returned it through a vent in the bottom.  This caused the coldest product to be the first one customers touch.
